The firm continues to advance its strong leadership role in Israel in the design of municipal wastewater treatment facilities. Activities in this area include- projection of influent flows, economic and technical evaluation of treatment alternatives, preliminary, final and detailed design of treatment processes, plant hydraulic analysis, selection of control and instrumentation equipment and preparation of complete tender documents for construction.
HGM has, in recent years, greatly expanded its activities in the field of industrial wastewater engineering, activities including: evaluation of both raw materials and processes used at a given industrial plant, and of the effluent and other products produced by the plant. These evaluations, in turn, enable the firm's engineers to recommend and design appropriate facilities for the separate treatment of the plant's wastes or for the pre-treatment of these wastes prior to their disposal to municipal collection and treatment systems.
HGM maintains close relationships with research institutions, international professional associations' and experts and consultants in specialized fields.
HGM has been engaged in several conventional and special environmental engineering projects abroad, including projects in Nigeria, Angola, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Jamaica and Cyprus. Recently the company started to be engaged with a water supply project in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria and Water Treatment at Ohofia Ukawn Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Nigeria.
Hgm has been involved Hydrological projects such as run off water preservation infiltration of stormwater drainage, and stormwater Ponds for recreation infiltration and storage for irrigation.
